Infielder Alex De Jesus really enjoys how the Toronto Blue Jays’ organization handles their business. De Jesus, who came over from the Dodgers’ in the Nick Frasso trade in 2022; has definitely found a new home in the Blue Jays’ system.

“I really like how they go about their business,” De Jesus said of the organization. “They’re really focused at helping you get better in every possible way there is. Whether that’s fielding balls or having better at-bats; they really push you to be your best.”

Currently slashing .242/.316/.330 after 186 at-bats in Double-A; De Jesus talks about the development of his plate approach in pro ball.

“I think it’s going a little better lately,” explained De Jesus. “I’ve been getting more reps and at-bats lately which helps you know the game a little bit better and allows you to go up there with a better plan whether it’s situational hitting or station-to-station.”

Playing mostly third base this season, De Jesus feels his play in the field is improving.

“I feel like I’m getting better at that,” stated De Jesus. “My manager here in New Hampshire Cesar Martin works with me every day on the field doing drill work.”

Be sure to follow Alex De Jesus, as he continues to work hard in the Toronto Blue Jays’ organization.
