Infielder Bradley Jones is a prospect worth keeping an eye on.

Jones, who has the ability to play first, second, or third base any given night, takes pride in his versatility.

“I love being able to play three different positions,” explained Jones. “It’s fun being able to play somewhere different every day and I think it helps me as far as moving through the organization.”

Putting up his best numbers at first base; Jones has maintained an impressive .995 fielding percentage in 410 2/3 innings.  Logging an additional 303 2/3 innings at third, and another 195 at second gives the Blue Jays numerous options for his future.

Projecting more as a corner infielder moving forward due to his production at the plate; Jones has recorded 29 doubles, four triples, and 27 home runs in 500 career at-bats to date.

Satisfied with his results so far in his career, Jones discusses what he tries to accomplish in the batter’s box every night.

“I think my approach is pretty good,” said Jones. “While, it’s good, I have some moments that I have to make adjustments during games to make things happen.”

Another helpful element to his approach has been competing in major league camp the past two springs.

“It’s always fun going over to the big league camp,” stated Jones. “It’s always great being able to see how those guys approach things every day, and how they go about getting their work in.”

Fans of the Toronto Blue Jays will be following Bradley Jones, as he continues to develop his skills.
